OXOLUTIA as potential end-user of new cloud-based HPC tool for the design of high-temperature superconductor equipment.

Written by . Posted in Blog

OXOLUTIA is the end-user of experiment 521 within the FORTISSIMO European project committed to extend the use of high performance computing to SME in a cloud-based environment. The objective consists of a novel numerical tool to assist customization and design of HTS tapes and related devices, like superconductor cables or high-field magnets. The leader of such development is CIMNE-UPC, which will use its proprietary FEMPAR software for solving the multi-physical equations, assisted by ICMAB-CSIC. The developed software will run at CESGA supercomputing center.
