OXOLUTIA finishes first year of INNPACTO project
The INNPACTO program belongs to the Spanish research strategic plan INNOVACCION from the Spanish Ministerio de Industria y Competitividad. It aims at the creation of cooperation projects between public research centers and companies in order to strengthen the innovation activity, help in attracting private funding, generate employment and improve the technology balance in the country. At the same time, the program seeks to support the participation of partners in European and International projects and programs.
In our case, the private-public consortium is formed by La Farga Lacambra (Coordinator), OXOLUTIA (Technical Management) and ICMAB-CSIC.
The main objectives of the project are the succesful technological development of second-generation multilayer epitaxial superconductor tapes in long lengths by reduced-cost chemical methodologies and innovative biaxially-textured copper-based substrates.
Significant progress towards these goals is expected in the following second year of the project.
